What happens when pain becomes part of everyday life - not only for the person experiencing it, but for the people who love and care for them? Join Kathie Elliot-Scott, author of Poised on the point of pain: Nureyev's Foot and Other Essays, and a panel of authors and advocates as they explore stories of chronic pain and invisible illness and the role storytelling plays in helping people feel seen and understood. Books will be available for purchase, or bring your copy from home to be signed. Presented as part of the Lord Mayor's Writers in Residence series.
