Bookings essential. To reserve your place, visit Eventbrite or call the library. Join us for a free Speechie Library Talk! Do you have a child between 0-5 years? Would you like to help develop their language and literacy skills? Speech pathologists work with children and families to help build the foundations on which literacy skills develop, and help support a healthy transition into literacy. Meet your local speech pathologist, find out more about how you can support your child's language and literacy development at home, and enjoy reading of one Speech pathology Australia's 2026 Book of the year winning books. Ideal for families. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
