It's not a dating app.
You don't pick people on Vesica. You pick something to do, and whoever else is going comes with it.

Is it free?
Yes. Vesica is free to use.
What's the difference between hosted plans and public events?
A hosted plan is made by a real person in the app. Their face is on it, they’re in the chat, and they choose whether anyone can join or people ask first. A public event is something already on in Brisbane, from Brisbane City Council listings. It has no host in the app and links out to the real event. Its group chat opens once two or more people are going.
What can other people see about me?
Only people in the same event or chat see you: your name, your photo, your bio if you wrote one, and the messages you send there. There’s no way to browse or search for people.
Is everyone verified?
No. Hosts verify their phone number; nobody else is checked. Meet in public, tell a friend where you’re going, and block and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
Is it on Android?
Not yet. Vesica is iPhone only for now.
Is it only in Brisbane?
Yes, for now.
When can I get it?
